Northrise University is located in Ndola one of the large cities in Zambia – Africa. Ndola is the main hub of the copperbelt province – a region in which Zambia’s copper is mined. The city is about 360 Kilometers north of the country’s capital city – Lusaka – and is well connected to other towns by road and rail. It is home to an international airport.

Northrise University currently operates two campuses: NU Main Campus (Ndola) and NU Solwezi Campus in Northwestern Province.

NU Main Campus:

The Northrise University main campus is located on Plot No. 30029 Ndola-Kitwe Highway right opposite Twapia Turn-off and SGC Gas Station. On the 640 acres of Land, NU has embarked on a 2020 Capital Plan. The following are some of the structure currently on campus:

Kuhula House: This is a Business classroom building with a local dialet name; Kuhula; which means growth and development. It was the first classroom block and houses 2 lecture theaters, classrooms, tutorial rooms, computer labs, a staff lounge and a student lounge.

NU Student Dormitory: Northrise has two residence halls for students that seek accommodation with the University. Construction of more dorms is envisaged under the 2020 Capital Plan.

NUCare Clinic: The University has a medical clinic that offers quality yet affordable health care services to the university community (students, staff and faculty). The clinic also offers health care support services to the surrounding and other densely populated communities like Twapia, Goearge and Mapalo townships through outreach programs as schedule by the clinic.

Staff Housing: There is one staff duplex within the campus premises

Campus Center: The heart of the Main Campus will be the milti-purpose Campus Center Building. It will contain a library, computer lab, assimilation lab and cafeteria. Additionally, it will include offices for faculty and administration of the university. It will also feature a 200 seat auditorium equipped with all necessary sound and lighting to serve as an important venue for concerts, student productions, ceremonies and chapel.

In the first half of 2016, the University will consolidate the two campuses – Downtown and Main campus – into one with all university operations relocating to the Main Campus.

Northrise University will officially launch the Campus Center Building on 4th June, 2016. A graduation ceremony will also be held as a joint event.

Northrise University Solwezi Campus:

Solwezi Campus in located in Mushitala area right opposite Mary Begg (Kansanshi Mine) Clinic within the mine property next to the Solwezi Golf Estate. The Solwezi Campus building has classrooms, a library, computer lab, an assimilation room, as well as staff and faculty offices
