Diploma in Human Resource Management
The Professional Diploma in Human Resource Management is targeted at individuals who seek to either develop a professional career in human resource management or those in the profession that seek to enhance their understanding of its fundamental principles. At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Understand human resource management from a functional, systemic and strategic perspective.
- Describe the field of "human resource management" and understand its relevance to managers and employees in work organizations.
- Describe and apply fundamental employment laws prevailing in Zambia.
- Conduct a basic job analysis, develop job descriptions and undertake job evaluation activities linked to their organizational objectives.
- Comprehend and develop recruitment and selection techniques aligned to the organizational strategy.
- Developing Training and Development policy and include a training cycle that is efficient and effective for their organization.
- Distinguish between Performance Management, Performance Appraisal and their associated techniques in the organization.
- Execute industrial relations in an effective and non disruptive manner
